A little about me…
In considering these questions you may be wondering about me. Yes, I am a therapist – that is since December 1999. My Master’s degree is in Human Relations. I am a licensed Professional Counselor. I am certified as a Trauma Specialist since January 2003 through the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists. Since June 2000 I am also certified in a technique called Thought Field Therapy. Additionally, I am trained to work with our military and veterans as well as having 182+ additional hours of training in trauma work to help survivors heal well. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in conjunction with Thought Field Therapy with highly successful results.
Since May of 2000, I have worked via therapy with those who are feeling hopeless, helpless, worthless and out of control of their lives, experiencing relationship difficulties, connecting with ease with those who are hurting. My passion in life is people. Because I deeply care, my goal is to facilitate lasting positive change in the lives of others. I have since gained effective skills to aid those who have experienced traumatic incidents as well as a long list of pain-causing issues, challenges, and disorders. I am experienced and comfortable with a diversity of ages, genders, lifestyles, experiential histories, cultures, and nationalities from around the world.
